Falcon Card Terms and Conditions Agreement

This is the Agreement between Daytona State College, hereinafter referred to as DSC, and myself, regarding the delivery and future payment of Falcon Card services (meal plans, dining dollars and Falcon Cash) in accordance with this agreement. By allowing charges to be applied to my credit card or student account, I will be bound by this agreement.

I acknowledge and understand I am responsible for knowing and complying with any and all policies and deadlines as it relates to the purchase and refunds of meal plans, dining dollars and Falcon Cash. 

I acknowledge and understand meal plan selections cannot be changed after the add/drop period and meal plan accounts are not transferrable.

I acknowledge and understand meal plan and dining dollar purchases will no longer be eligible for a full refund after the first day of classes.  Falcon Cash purchases are not refundable. Any refunds due will be processed in accordance with the College's refund policy.

I authorize DSC to add to my student account any and all charges for meal plans incurred by me through the Falcon Card Portal if not paid in advance via credit card or other acceptable forms of payment method. (This will only apply to students anticipating Financial Aid)

I am responsible for monitoring my Falcon Card Portal, online student account and financial aid information to determine if my financial aid is enough to cover any costs incurred or balances due through the Falcon Card Portal.

I authorize DSC to deduct the total amount of all Falcon Card transaction charges for meals, dining dollars and Falcon Cash from the first available financial aid including federal, state, institutional and external assistance received for attendance at DSC. I further understand that any additional financial aid surplus available can be used towards the purchase of a meal plan.

I understand that Financial Aid is awarded based on enrollment.  Dropping or withdrawing from a course(s) may affect the amount of financial aid awarded.

I understand that if I withdraw from or cease attending a course(s) after the end of the drop period, I will be responsible for paying any balance due in full for any costs incurred through Falcon Card Portal for meals, dining dollars and Falcon Cash.

I understand that DSC will take action to collect any unpaid balance to the College including referring the account to an outside collection agency and one or more credit bureau reporting services and I agree to reimburse DSC the fees of any collection agency, which may be based on a percentage at a maximum of 30% of the debt, and all costs and expenses of collection, including reasonable attorney's fees DSC may incur to collect the debt.

DSC will prevent me from further registration activity and will withhold transcripts, diplomas, and other services until my student account has been paid in full for any outstanding charges incurred through the Falcon Card Portal for meals, dining dollars and Falcon Cash.

By clicking on the "I Agree" button below, I am entering into a legal and binding contract with Daytona State College governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal regulations and hereby acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
